- Personally, I stopped using the Amigas custom format when I found out
- it was incompatible with everything else. Today, there is no excuse
- for making a floppy disk physically incompatible at the sector level
- with the other manufacturers. IMHO I think that the Amiga should have
- had the same sector level format (i.e. 720K) and then implemented
- the FFS on top. Having incompatible disks is not something Amiga
- owners should be proud of, instead concentrate on the graphics
- capability :-)

- My solution was to use the the PC: driver exclusively for my own
- work. Of coure you have to limit yourself to the 8.3 filenames :-(
- and a slightly lower disk capacity but that was a small price for
- the increased compatibility.
