  25. Personally, I stopped using the Amigas custom format when I found out
  26. it was incompatible with everything else. Today, there is no excuse
  27. for making a floppy disk physically incompatible at the sector level
  28. with the other manufacturers. IMHO I think that the Amiga should have
  29. had the same sector level format (i.e. 720K) and then implemented
  30. the FFS on top. Having incompatible disks is not something Amiga
  31. owners should be proud of, instead concentrate on the graphics
  32. capability :-)

  34. My solution was to use the the PC: driver exclusively for my own
  35. work. Of coure you have to limit yourself to the 8.3 filenames :-(
  36. and a slightly lower disk capacity but that was a small price for
  37. the increased compatibility.
